Service contents What services do you provide?
SHIMA Datamall is an online service dedicated to the production of knitwear.
Membership is not limited to users of SHIMA SEIKI products. Anyone can search and browse over 8,700 various data free of charge. You can gather information for product planning and new collections. Furthermore, data purchased on this service can be used for communications with your suppliers.
Note: Data purchases can be made only by SHIMA SEIKI Users. (The types of data that can be purchased depends on the SHIMA SEIKI product you use.)

Account registration Is it free to sign up?
Yes, it is free for everyone.
Account registration I selected "Knit User or System User" for sign-up, but my User Authorization in [Account] page is [Guest User].
Your application details are being checked by SHIMA SEIKI. You can use SHIMA Datamall™ (search and browse) until you get authorized.
This authorization may take a few days. Please note that you may not be given the authorization for Knit User or System User if we cannot confirm that you are using SHIMA SEIKI products or for other reasons.
Account registration I am a user of a SHIMA SEIKI product, but I accidentally signed up as [Guest User].
Sign in and [Request account authorization] in [Account] page.
For users Can multiple people use one account?
Multiple logins cannot be made to one account at the same time.
For users I cannot add items to the cart.
Please check your User Authorization in [Account] page. Data purchase can be made only by [Knit User] and [System User].
The available services are different among these 2 authorizations.
For users How can I pay?
You can pay with your credit card, Google Pay, WeChatPay, or Alipay.
For users How much is 1 point?
Please check in [Cart] page after sign-in.
For users Do you issue receipts or invoices for data purchases?
For those who selected "Japan" in the country field during their account registration on SHIMA online, a receipt will be sent to the registered email address after payment is completed. We do not issue invoices.
For those who selected a country other than Japan in the country field during their account registration on SHIMA online, an invoice and receipt will be sent to the registered email address after payment is completed.
For users Is sales tax included in the points shown for each data?
Sales tax is not included. Sales tax will be added when purchasing points. This applies only to those who selected "Japan" in the country field during their account registration on SHIMA online
For users Are there any restrictions on the versions of data?
The available version of data is shown in each sample page.
You can check your software version in [Guide] > [SDS-ONE APEX software version] after sign-in.
For users Is there an expiration date for the use of downloaded data?
There is no expiration date for the use of downloaded data.
However, use of the data may be suspended in case of violation of the Terms of Use. For details, please refer to Article 8 (License to Use Data) of the Terms of Use.

For users How can I cancel my membership?
The Registered User may, at any time, delete their user registration for the Service by notifying Shima Seiki to that effect through the method prescribed by Shima Seiki.
Please refer to Article 10 (Suspension of Use and the Deletion of the User Registration) of the SHIMA online Terms of Use.
